I'm an author who builds queer-normative fantasy worlds full of mythical creatures, spectacular characters, and complex magic.

Are you a queer author of science fiction, fantasy, or horror? I would love to have you featured in my bi-weekly newsletter! Each newsletter has two spots for promoting individual books. I don't like to promote more than a few books so that each book gets enough attention.

The readers of my bi-weekly newsletter are voracious fans of queer SFFH. They particularly like high / epic fantasy set in queer normative worlds, especially if the leads are sapphic, trans, or non-binary, but they definitely like sci-fi and horror, too!

Sales and Retailers

I will promote using universal book links to any retailers you have available, including niche retailers and storefronts like Itch.io and Campfire. I will also promote links to your direct store! This includes pre-orders!

Reader magnets

Do you make one of your books available for free to your own newsletter subscribers? You can submit the BookFunnel / StoryOrigin / MyBookCave / Prolific Works page or your own landing page for readers to grab your free book!

Review Copies

Got an ARC sign up or just interested in getting more reviews? I will absolutely promote that! Leave your links BookFunnel / Story Origin/ BookSirens / NetGalley /Your Own Sign-Up Page, etc!

Do you allow for spicy books?

Yes! I will promote up to 4-peppers on the pepper scale. I will not promote erotica at this time as my readers do not seem interested in it and I couldn't guarantee that you would get the kinds of readers you are looking for.

How much does this cost?

Free! I am not charging. Authors are cash strapped as it is.

Do you allow genAI?

No. No getAI covers, no genAI writing. This is done on an honor system, but if I find out that you have lied, I will not feature any of your future books. Please be honest! If you are a low-income author and need an affordable cover, please check out GetCovers. They do ebooks for $10 USD and paperbacks for $35 USD. I hired GetCovers for Stars and Soil, Scorched Scars, and Smoke and Steel. They are a small company in Ukraine that trains junior designers and recent design school graduates. They do not use AI in their process, and they do fabulous work.

Do I have to promote you in return? I don't have a newsletter.

No. You do not have to feature or promote any of my books in return, but I would appreciate it if you did! I understand that not all authors have their own newsletter and/or not on social media. If you do want to promote my books, you can promote my free reader magnet Scorched Scars, or the Universal Book Link for Stars and Soil. Thank you!

My book features a character that is (queer identity), is that queer enough?

YES. This is INCLUSIVE. We stan aro characters, ace characters, trans characters, bi characters that are in m/f relationships, characters in QPRs/QPPs, etc. If you think your book belongs here, it does.

What information do you need?

Select the date you want your book featured from the Calendar app, provide me a cover, the title, a short blurb (250-300 words), spice level, any content or trigger warnings (they won't disqualify you), and any other information you feel is relevant (is a sale going on? is it part of a series? did the book win an award?). Also, please let me know the price; my readers usually like books that are $5.99 USD or less, but please let me know if it's part of a special limited time discount!

Get your book featured.

Use the calendar app to select your date (every other Thursday). The time you select doesn't matter; that's just the time that my newsletter goes out. Fill out the form and hit submit! Presto! Your book will be featured in my newsletter.

I can't guarantee you any sales, newsletter sign-ups, etc. But I can guarantee that your book will be seen by voracious readers looking for Queer SFFH reads.
